I’ve never really been an accessories kind of girl. My MO with accessories was pretty much a plain jane. To be honest, I just couldn’t keep track of my jewellery; I would wear it and then totally forget where I placed it *RIP to all my missing earring studs*
However, the best thing about my fashion sense is that it is ever changing. I remember in high school I went through a goth phase, where I wore all black with heavy eye-liner, a punk-rock phase, where my wrists were covered with spiked and studded bracelets and even a J-Lo phase where I copied every music video look she released on her J.Lo album (no lies, I recreated all her looks from her “I’m Real” video with Ja Rule).
Now in my late twenties, I think my look is more refined and classic. I recently just started introducing jewellery back into my wardrobe with dainty necklaces, bracelets and now watches! Watches were never really my thing but now with so many different sizes, shapes, colours and textures – you can pretty much find a watch to match any style.
Swatch’s Skin Irony Collection is one of those watch collections that are classic, timeless pieces that looks great whether you’re dressed up or dressed down. This collection is the perfect match between bold classic lines and graceful contemporary contrasts. I really enjoy this collection as the watch design is very subtle and discreet, it’s goes perfectly with any occasion! My favourite is the Skindoree – I don’t own a white watch and was skeptical at first but once I tried it on, it was love at first sight. The watch is very lightweight, I’m obsessed with the gold details and it absolutely goes with any outfit. This is a watch that I can see myself wearing for years, it’s definitely a timeless piece.
